Peter L Tyree – Chairman
Peter Tyree FTSE, Hon Fellow IE Aust., CPEng. FAICD has unique experience in building the Tyree Group, one of Australia’s largest private companies, and has now retired from executive duties to allow for succession within the group. Tyree has worked in a number of organisations in his career that has seen him involved in research work, engineering, sales and manufacturing management before moving to chief executive work over the last 35 years.
Tyree plans to remain active in and is passionate about business. He has joined the MIKOH Board as an independent non-executive Chairman as part of this plan, which will see MIKOH using his strategic thinking and engineering knowledge coupled with vast international business experience, a high energy level, competitive strengths and strong managerial capability.

Peter is married with four children and enjoys almost any sporting pursuit, particularly snow and water skiing, sailing and bushwalking.
Dr. John S. Keniry AM – Non-executive Director
Dr. John Keniry is a chemical engineer whose career has spanned research, marketing, business development and general management. He was an executive director of Goodman Fielder Limited from 1987 to 1993, then Australia’s largest food company. He is presently chairman of Ridley Corporation, Biosignal Limited and Latrobe Magnesium Limited, and a board member of the Industry IR&D Board and of the NSW Environment Protection Authority.
Keniry’s previous appointments include president of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1999 to 2001, membership of the Prime Ministers Science, Engineering and Innovation Council from 1997 to 2001, and chairman of Unisearch Limited from 1999 to 2003.
He is a fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Riad Tayeh – Non-executive Director
Riad Tayeh began his career at Coopers & Lybrand before moving to Ferrier Hodgson Sydney, and then Ferrier Hodgson Hong Kong. For ten years he specialised in corporate restructure, financial investigation, and turnaround strategy. In the Hong Kong market he restructured a number of listed companies which went on to be very successful. Tayeh is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Tayeh has assisted various companies in restructuring, equity raisings, building and acquiring businesses, and exit strategies. He joined Antony de Vries in partnership in February 2002, bringing considerable commercial acumen in the formation of de Vries Tayeh. Tayeh enjoys a reputation as a tough-minded and astute practitioner, and offers clients an energetic and practical approach to business solutions.
Tayeh also undertakes a number of appointments for not for profit organisations. He has been president and chairman of the Turnaround Management Association of Australia, and continues on various committees including various charity committees.
Tayeh is also a director of Volleyball Australia and is a member of the International Volleyball Federation and Asian Volleyball Confederation Finance Commissions.
