Douglas J Halley – ChairmanDoug Halley

Doug Halley has broad financial and general management experience as a chief executive officer, chief financial officer and senior executive. He has worked in financial services, publishing and media, IT and manufacturing sectors with organizations including NV Philips (in Australia , UK and the Netherlands ), Hill Samuel Australia, NM Rothschild & Sons Australia, Goodman Fielder, John Fairfax Holdings, IBM Global Services and the Thomson Corporation.

Halley has considerable experience in strategy and corporate development, plus large-scale acquisitions and financing. He also has broad experience in business development in China, Japan and South East Asia. he is a director of Diversified Utility and Energy Trust (ASX 200 company) and chairman of the advisory boards for SISS21, and UGLii Find Australia and the AEH Group.

Matthew Blomfield – Managing Director and Chief Executive OfficerMatt Blomfield

Matthew Blomfield is managing director and CEO of MIKOH Corporation.  Over the past three years, he spearheaded global development, transforming MIKOH into the world’s leading authority on the physical security of RFID tags. 

Early in his career, Blomfield launched the first three-dimensional PC-based CAD/CAM software and participated in the successful initial public offering of the product’s developer, The Caddsman Limited.  He forged new business partnerships across key financial centers, driving successful initiatives in Australia, Korea, Japan and China.  He was later appointed managing director of the public company and negotiated its successful acquisition by ISR Limited.

Blomfield created his own consultancy service in 1993.  As a consultant, he advised and managed a myriad of technology companies.  His roles included managing director of Megasports Australia Pty. Limited, CEO of Genesis Inc. (a spatial geo-processing software company) and CEO of Pier Nineteen Technologies Pty. Limited (a mobile communications middleware company).

Dr. John S. Keniry AM – Non-executive DirectorJohn Keniry

Dr. John Keniry is a chemical engineer whose career has spanned research, marketing, business development and general management. He was an executive director of Goodman Fielder Limited from 1987 to 1993, then Australia’s largest food company. He is presently chairman of Ridley Corporation, Biosignal Limited and Latrobe Magnesium Limited, and a board member of the Industry IR&D Board and of the NSW Environment Protection Authority.

Keniry’s previous appointments include president of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1999 to 2001, membership of the Prime Ministers Science, Engineering and Innovation Council from 1997 to 2001, and chairman of Unisearch Limited from 1999 to 2003.

He is a fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Richard Holcomb – Non-executive DirectorRichnard Holcomb

Richard Holcomb, the company’s first non-Australian director, resides in North Carolina and is a leading entrepreneur in the Research Triangle Park area. He is founder and chairman of StrikeIron, a Web services company, and was a founder and director of several successful technology companies.

Holcomb is currently a venture partner for the Aurora Funds in Durham, North Carolina and serves on the boards of several technology companies, both public and private. He also serves on several advisory boards including the NCSU Graduate School Board of Advisors and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, and is a former appointed member of the North Carolina Information Resource Management Commission and former chairman of the North Carolina Electronics and Information Technology Association.

During his career, Holcomb has received several awards,  including the 1993 Ernst and Young Technology Entrepreneur Of The Year and the 1996 Business Leader Top Gun Entrepreneur of the Year.

Holcomb received a bachelor’s of science from the University of South Carolina and an master’s of science in computer science from North Carolina State University. He is also an active environmentalist and organic farmer and restaurateur. He owns Coon Rock Farm, an all organic farm in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
